Riesling Rutscherle

Domaine Vincent Stoeffler
Picture a bright Alsatian white grown on the Rutscherle slope, where limestone-rich soils give the grapes real tension and drive. The Stoeffler family farms organically in Barr, tending old vines by hand and letting each plot speak for itself. Gentle pressing, a slow fermentation with native yeasts and a quiet rest on fine lees build depth without covering up the fruit. You'll find lemon zest, white peach and a flinty, almost salty finish that keeps you coming back. Serve it chilled with oysters, trout or a simple goat's cheese salad. Fresh now, yet happy to wait a few years.
