Pinot Noir Grand Cru Kirchberg de Barr Nature Bio "XXC"

Domaine Vincent Stoeffler
Imagine a red from Alsace that plays in the big league. Grown on the limestone-rich slopes of Barr, one of the region's finest Grand Cru sites, these old Pinot Noir vines are farmed organically and biodynamically by a family estate that's been doing things gently for generations. Hand-harvested, fermented with wild yeasts and bottled without added sulphites, it's as honest as wine gets. Expect bright cherry and wild raspberry, a hint of crushed stone, silky tannins and a long, mineral finish. Serve it slightly chilled with roast poultry, mushroom dishes or simply a good cheese board. You'll want a second glass.
