Pinot Noir Rotenberg bio

Domaine Vincent Stoeffler
Grown on the steep, iron-rich slopes of a celebrated Alsace hillside, this red shows just how elegant the region's reds can be. The family behind it farms organically and biodynamically, tending old vines by hand on clay-limestone soils that give the wine its warmth and depth. Hand-harvested fruit is gently vinified and aged in oak barrels, bringing silky tannins and a touch of spice without masking the fruit. Expect ripe cherry, wild raspberry and a smoky, mineral finish that lingers. Serve it with roast poultry, mushroom dishes or a mature cheese board, and give it a few minutes to open up.
