Riesling Brandluft Bio

Rieffel
Grown on the sandstone and marl slopes above Mittelbergheim, this dry Alsatian white comes from a family estate farming organically and biodynamically, with hand-harvesting and gentle, low-intervention cellar work. Native yeasts, a slow fermentation and ageing on fine lees give it depth without heaviness. Expect bright citrus, white peach and a hint of crushed stone, with that saline, mouth-watering finish the terroir is known for. Try it with trout, roast chicken, goat's cheese or a plate of oysters — or simply enjoy it chilled on a warm evening. Still youthful, it will reward a few more years in the cellar.
