Pinot Noir Kreuzel

Rieffel
Here's a red that shows just how much finesse Alsace can bring. Grown on a sun-blessed limestone slope, the vines dig deep into stony soils that give the fruit its lift and tension. The Rieffel family works biodynamically, keeping yields low and picking by hand, so every bunch arrives in perfect shape. Gentle fermentation with native yeasts and a quiet rest in old oak let the grape speak for itself: think ripe cherry, wild raspberry, a whisper of woodsmoke and silky, fine-grained tannins. Pour it with roast poultry, mushroom risotto or a good cheeseboard, and you'll see what the fuss is about.
