Sylvaner Grand Cru Zotzenberg Bio

Rieffel
Here's a rare treat: one of the only Grands Crus in Alsace where Sylvaner is allowed to shine. The Zotzenberg hill at Mittelbergheim gives this grape a seriously classy side, thanks to its marl-limestone soils that bring freshness, depth and a lovely saline finish. The family estate works organically, with low yields and hand-picked fruit, then lets the juice ferment gently in the cellar to keep every bit of purity. In the glass you'll find white flowers, ripe pear, a touch of fennel and a chalky grip. Brilliant with asparagus, seafood or a creamy goat's cheese. Try it, you'll be surprised.
