Volnay 1er Cru Carelle sous la chapelle
This elegant Burgundy comes from a sun-blessed slope just below the chapel, where limestone-rich soils give the fruit a lovely sense of poise. The domaine works its vines organically, picking by hand and sorting with real care, so only the healthiest grapes make the cut. Gentle extraction and ageing in French oak barrels bring depth without masking the terroir's natural finesse. Expect silky red cherry and wild raspberry, a whisper of violet, and supple tannins that glide across the palate. The 2021 vintage brings freshness and precision, making it a joy with roast duck, mushroom risotto or a quiet evening of good conversation.

Coteaux Champenois Largillier CBO vendange entière
Meet a rare red from the Aube, born on the Largillier slope in Ville-sur-Arce, a single south-facing parcel of Kimmeridgian marl farmed by Jérôme Coessens. Here Pinot Noir reaches a depth you rarely expect from Champagne country. The 2018 vintage was picked as whole bunches, fermented gently and raised without make-up, so you get the fruit exactly as the slope delivered it: wild cherry, crushed raspberry, a twist of pepper and fine, chalky tannins. Pour it with roast poultry, mushrooms or a cheese board, and give it a few minutes in the glass. Small production, real character, genuine pleasure.

Champagne Cuvée des Caudalies Le Mesnil Les Chetillons Grand Cru Extra
Imagine a champagne born from old vines rooted in the chalky soils of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of the Côte des Blancs' most revered Grand Cru villages. The De Sousa family farms biodynamically here, tending parcels in Les Chétillons with real devotion, picking by hand and letting the fruit speak. Fermented and aged in oak barrels, then rested for years on lees, this blanc de blancs shows you what patience does: a fine, creamy mousse, aromas of citrus zest, white flowers, toasted brioche and crushed stone. The finish is long, saline and beautifully taut. A collector's bottle you'll want to share slowly.

Puligny-Montrachet
Imagine a white Burgundy that feels both precise and generous — that's what you get here. Benoît Ente works his vines by hand in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, keeping yields low and letting the Chardonnay soak up every bit of those stony, clay-limestone soils. The 2022 vintage brings ripe citrus, white peach and a touch of hazelnut, with a saline freshness that keeps everything beautifully balanced. Ageing in barrel adds gentle creaminess without ever masking the fruit. Pour it alongside roast chicken, scallops or a creamy risotto — or simply enjoy it on its own and let it charm you.
