Riesling Frédéric Emile

Trimbach
A true Alsace legend, born from two grand cru slopes, Geisberg and Osterberg, just above Ribeauvillé. The vines dig into marl, limestone and sandstone soils, giving a wine with real backbone and a saline, mineral edge you won't forget. The family behind it has been making dry, precise Riesling since 1626, and this bottling shows exactly why they're so respected. Fermented slowly, aged on its fine lees in neutral tanks, then given several years of patience in the cellar before release. Expect citrus zest, white peach, flint and a long, racy finish. Brilliant with seafood, or simply keep it another decade.
