Bourgogne Les Belles Côtes

Pierre Boisson
Crafted in Meursault by a grower whose name is spoken with real reverence, this Chardonnay comes from vines planted on the limestone slopes above the village. The 2020 vintage brings ripe citrus, white peach and a touch of hazelnut, all held together by the bright, mineral backbone you'd hope for from this corner of Burgundy. Fermented and aged in barrel with a light touch, it keeps its freshness and purity rather than piling on the oak. Pour it with roast chicken, creamy risotto or simply a good cheese board. Honestly, it drinks beautifully now, but there's no rush — give it a few years if you can resist.
