Bourgogne Blanc

Pierre Boisson
From one of Meursault's most respected growers, this is the sort of everyday white that quietly outclasses its label. Pierre Boisson farms his vines with real care, picking by hand from parcels sitting close to the village's finest slopes, on classic clay-limestone soils. The juice is pressed gently, then fermented and aged in barrel with a light touch — nothing showy, just patience. What you get in the glass is pure Chardonnay charm: white peach, citrus zest, a hint of hazelnut and that saline, chalky finish Burgundy lovers chase. Pour it with roast chicken, scallops or a creamy risotto. You'll come back for more.
