Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Henri Boillot
Crafted by one of Burgundy's most respected family estates, this red shows just how much charm Pinot Noir can offer without the big price tag. The grapes come from well-placed parcels across the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, where limestone-rich soils give the wine its lift and freshness. Gentle winemaking and a light touch of oak keep the fruit front and centre: think ripe cherry, wild strawberry and a hint of forest floor. The tannins are silky, the finish clean and moreish. Lovely with roast chicken, charcuterie or a simple mushroom risotto. Easy to drink now, happy to wait a few years too.
