Savagnin Ouillé

Fumey-Chatelain
Grown on the marl and limestone slopes of Arbois, this white comes from a family estate that's been tending Jura vines for generations. The Savagnin grapes are hand-picked, gently pressed and aged in barrel without the traditional veil – topped up regularly, so the fruit stays bright and pure. The result? A fresh, tightly-wound white with notes of citrus zest, green apple, crushed hazelnut and a whisper of white flowers. The finish is saline and mouth-watering, with that unmistakable Jura tension. Pour it alongside river fish, poultry in cream sauce or a wedge of young Comté. You'll want a second glass.
