Arbois Chardonnay Les Graviers Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot

Grown on the gravelly soils around Arbois, this Jura white comes from one of the region's most respected biodynamic growers. Stéphane and Bénédicte farm their old Chardonnay vines with real care, hand-harvesting fruit that ripens slowly on stony ground. Fermentation happens naturally in oak barrels, where the wine rests on its lees under a topped-up, oxidative-free approach, giving you purity rather than the Jura's famous nutty style. Expect white peach, citrus zest and a chalky, saline finish that keeps you coming back. Lovely with roast chicken, river fish or a wedge of Comté. Drink now or cellar a few years.
