Chardonnay "Sauvagny"

Fumey-Chatelain
From the heart of the Jura, this white comes from a family estate in Montigny-lès-Arsures working its vines with real care, on marl and limestone soils that give the wines their backbone. Picked by hand, the grapes are pressed gently and fermented slowly, then aged to keep everything fresh and precise rather than heavy. You'll find white flowers, ripe pear and a touch of citrus, with a lightly toasted, almondy finish typical of the region. Clean, bright and easy to love, it's lovely with roast chicken, creamy fish dishes or a wedge of Comté. A smart taste of Jura at its most approachable.
