🍷 Pinard & Filles: Quebec Natural Wine Rooted in Northern Terroir and Artisanal Freedom

Founded in 2011 by Frédéric Simon and Catherine Bélanger, Pinard & Filles is a natural wine estate located in Austin, in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, on the western shore of Lake Memphrémagog. They also farm a second site along the Saint Lawrence River in Lanaudière. The domaine practices sustainable, organic viticulture across 7.5 hectares, growing 24 grape varieties, including hybrids adapted to the harsh climate. Winemaking is fully natural: spontaneous fermentation, no additives, no commercial yeast, no fining or filtration, and little to no sulfur. Each cuvée is shaped by the vintage, with bold creativity and deep respect for life.
