🍷 Mas Coris: Organic Languedoc Wines Rooted in Schist, Garrigue, and Freedom
Founded in 2010 by Véronique and Jean Attard in Cabrières, at the foot of Pic de Vissou, Mas Coris is a small family-run estate with 3 hectares of organically farmed vines surrounded by 4 hectares of protected garrigue (Natura 2000). Mediterranean varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah) thrive on ancient schist soils at 200 meters altitude, giving the wines freshness, finesse, and minerality. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, winemaking is natural and additive-free, and aging takes place in tanks or barrels. The wines are vibrant, sincere, and poetic, often labeled as Vin de France.
