L´Ostal Levant - Louis Pérot

🍷 L’Ostal Levant: Radical Natural Wine and Biodiversity in the Lot

Located in Puy-l’Évêque, in the Lot region of Southwest France, Louis and Charlotte Pérot founded L’Ostal Levant in 2015 after restoring an isolated farm surrounded by 20 hectares of woods, meadows, orchards, and old vines. The word “ostal” means more than a house—it’s a living ecosystem of people, animals, plants, and land. The estate is farmed organically, with horse-drawn work, resistant and hybrid grape varieties, and zero-input winemaking. All wines are made without additives or added sulfur, in a troglodyte cellar protected from light. The wines are raw, free, and full of energy.
