🍷 Lise and Bertrand Jousset: Natural Wine from Montlouis-sur-Loire, Vibrant and Elegant

Founded in 2004 in Montlouis-sur-Loire, in the heart of the Loire Valley, the domaine is run by passionate duo Lise and Bertrand Jousset. Lise, a former sommelier, and Bertrand, a former soldier turned winemaker, now farm around 11 hectares across 27 parcels, with vines aged 5 to 110 years. Chenin is the flagship grape, alongside Gamay, Grolleau, and Chardonnay. The estate is organically farmed, with biodynamic practices on some plots. Winemaking is natural, using native yeasts, minimal or no sulfur, and precise aging. Their wines are pure, energetic, and reflect the diversity of tuffeau soils.
