Gevrey-Chambertin VV Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py

# Old-Vine Burgundy from a Legendary Grower This is Pinot Noir at its most soulful. Bernard Dugat-Py farms tiny parcels of very old vines in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, working organically and picking by hand at perfect ripeness. Low yields give real concentration, and gentle vinification in oak lets the terroir speak rather than the winemaking. Expect dark cherry, wild raspberry, forest floor and a whisper of spice, wrapped in silky tannins and that unmistakable Burgundian freshness. The 2013 vintage brings elegance and lift, now beautifully mature. Pour it with roast duck, mushroom risotto or simply savour it slowly. A genuine collector's treat.
