Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Champeaux Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py

# A Grand Expression from A Legendary Burgundy Estate Crafted by one of Burgundy's most respected families, this red comes from old vines rooted in a steep, stony parcel high on the slope. The soils here are thin and rocky, pushing the vines to work hard — and you taste that intensity in the glass. Expect dark cherry, wild berries and a touch of spice, wrapped around firm yet silky tannins. Farmed biodynamically with tiny yields, hand-harvested and aged in French oak, the 2014 vintage brings freshness and precision. Give it time in the decanter, or cellar it — it'll reward your patience beautifully. Perfect with game or aged cheese.
