Domaine Petit-Roy

🍷 Domaine Petit-Roy: Japanese Precision Meets Burgundian Freedom

Founded in 2016 in Chorey-lès-Beaune by Seiichi Saito, Domaine Petit-Roy is one of Burgundy’s most distinctive micro-estates. Originally from Japan, Saito trained with iconic producers like Simon Bize, Leflaive, Rousseau, and Mugnier before launching his own domaine. He farms about 2 hectares organically and biodynamically (not certified), with a handcrafted, intuitive approach. Winemaking is natural, with no additives or added sulfur, and aging is long and precise. He produces rare cuvées under Bourgogne, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune, and Vin de France labels.
