🍷 Christian Ducroux: A Pioneer of Living Wine in Régnié

Based in Régnié-Durette in Beaujolais, Christian Ducroux is one of France’s earliest natural wine producers. Since 1985, he has farmed his 5-hectare estate using certified biodynamics, with a radically self-sufficient and peasant-style approach. His densely planted Gamay vines are surrounded by orchards and hedgerows, worked manually and with horses, without any chemical inputs.

• Strict biodynamics, biodiversity preservation, full autonomy.

• No additives in the cellar: concrete tanks, native yeasts, no added sulfur.

• Low yields (~25 hL/ha), hand harvesting.
