Champagne Doussot Bourdot

🍾 Champagne Doussot Bourdot: family craftsmanship in every bubble

Some champagnes are made in factories. This one isn't. Champagne Doussot Bourdot is a family estate where the same hands prune the vines, watch over the harvest and turn the bottles. You can taste that closeness — there's a warmth and a honesty here that big names rarely manage. Open a bottle and you'll see what we mean.

📍 Rooted in the Côte des Bar

The estate sits in the south of the Champagne region, in the beautiful Côte des Bar near Troyes — rolling hills, small villages and a slower pace of life. This is the warmest corner of Champagne, and the vines love it. Long, sunny slopes give grapes that ripen fully, bringing generous fruit and a lovely roundness to the finished wines.

🪨 A terroir of Kimmeridgian limestone

Under your feet here lies Kimmeridgian marl — the same chalky, fossil-rich soil that made Chablis famous. It drains beautifully, keeps the roots working hard and gives the wines that unmistakable mineral backbone. It's the reason a glass from Doussot Bourdot tastes fresh and lively even when it's rich and ripe.

🍇 The grapes behind the glass

Pinot Noir is the star of the show, as it is across the Côte des Bar. It brings body, red-fruit flavours and real depth. Chardonnay adds brightness, elegance and those citrus and white-flower notes that lift everything. Depending on the cuvée you'll also find touches of Pinot Meunier for softness and roundness — and a few rarer varieties kept alive by growers who care about tradition.

🥂 Bottles for every occasion

Whether you're after a crisp Brut for an aperitif with friends, a Blanc de Noirs with enough character to sit alongside dinner, a delicate rosé for summer evenings or a vintage cuvée for something special — there's a bottle here with your name on it. Patient ageing in the cellars gives each one fine bubbles and beautifully long flavours.

Champagne Destint Liées

Crafted by a family estate in the Côte des Bar, this cuvée shows what Aube chalk and Kimmeridgian clay can do when the vines are treated with care. Pinot Noir takes the lead here, grown on sun-facing slopes and picked by hand, then vinified gently to keep every bit of fruit and freshness. Expect ripe orchard fruit, a hint of brioche from patient ageing on lees, and a fine, persistent mousse. It's generous enough for roast poultry or creamy cheeses, yet lively enough to open on its own. A genuine grower Champagne with personality, made by people who know their plots by name.
