Côtes de Nuits Les Plantes Aux Bois

Antoine Lienhardt
Antoine Lienhardt works his vines just outside Nuits-Saint-Georges with a light touch: organic farming, hand-harvesting and whole bunches left to do their thing in the cellar. You'll find very little extraction here, no heavy oak, just gentle infusion that lets the fruit talk. The 2023 is bright and silky, with crunchy red cherry, wild strawberry and a savoury, almost peppery edge that comes straight from the stony Côte de Nuits soils. Drink it slightly chilled with charcuterie, roast chicken or a mushroom risotto. If you love Pinot Noir that feels fresh, honest and full of energy, you've found your bottle.
