Vino di Anna
🍷 Vino di Anna: Natural Wine from Mount Etna Blending Volcanic Energy, Biodiversity, and Radical Craft
Founded in 2010 by Australian winemaker Anna Martens and natural wine importer Eric Narioo, Vino di Anna is a family-run estate located in Solicchiata, on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. The couple farms about 8 hectares biodynamically, across small parcels between 760 and 1200 meters altitude, on mineral-rich volcanic soils. Many vines are over 100 years old and are tended by hand, without herbicides or chemical inputs. Winemaking is natural, sometimes using buried Georgian qvevri amphorae. Their reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling wines are vibrant, saline, and expressive of Etna’s raw energy.
