Thomas Jacquin
🍷 Thomas Jacquin: Natural Jura Wine Blending Medicinal Plants, Micro-Parcels, and Artisan Precision
Based in Marnoz, in the northern Jura region, Thomas Jacquin is a passionate young winemaker farming less than one hectare of vines in the Arbois AOC. After six years working with Stéphane Tissot, he launched his own domaine in 2017. He farms organically, using no chemical inputs, and treats his vines with infusions of medicinal plants he grows or forages locally. Jura’s emblematic grapes — Savagnin and Poulsard — are vinified without sulfur, fining, or filtration in a small, hands-on cellar. His wines are precise, mineral, vibrant, and reflect a plant-based, instinctive, and deeply respectful approach to nature.
