🍷 Laurent Bannwarth: Alsatian Natural Wine Blending Tradition and Boldness

Located in Obermorschwihr, Haut-Rhin, Alsace, Domaine Laurent Bannwarth is a family-run estate founded in the 1950s by Laurent and Suzanne Bannwarth. Since 1987, their son Stéphane, along with his sister Régine and wife Geneviève, has carried on the legacy with passion. The estate farms about 12 hectares organically and biodynamically (Demeter certified). In the cellar, winemaking is natural and daring: no added sulfites, skin-contact macerations, aging in Georgian amphorae (qvevri), and unfiltered wines. The domaine is known for its artisanal approach and distinctive cuvées that showcase the diversity of Alsatian grapes.
