🍷 La Grange des Pères: Languedoc Icon and Laurent Vaillé’s Masterpiece
Founded in 1992 in Aniane, Hérault, by Laurent Vaillé, La Grange des Pères quickly became a legendary estate in the Languedoc. Trained by masters like Gérard Chave, Jean-François Coche-Dury, and Éloi Dürrbach, Vaillé created wines of rare elegance, outside traditional appellations. The estate spans about 15 hectares on clay-limestone soils in the Arboussas massif. The reds blend Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Counoise; the whites combine Roussanne, Marsanne, Chardonnay, and Gros Manseng. Classified as IGP Pays de l’Hérault, these wines are sought after worldwide for their finesse, depth, and exceptional aging potential.
