The Johannes Aufricht estate is located in Stetten, Baden, southern Germany, overlooking Lake Constance. Founded in the 1980s by the Aufricht family, it is now led by Johannes Aufricht, part of a new generation of winemakers. After leaving Germany’s top wine school to learn hands-on across Europe, Johannes developed a precise, artisanal approach rooted in tradition and terroir. The estate farms around 2 hectares, focusing on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Completer, with vinification in small French oak barrels. The wines are refined, taut, and reflect the cool lake-influenced climate.
