🍷 Johan Tête: Natural Wine Artisan in Northern Ardèche
Based in Eclassan, Northern Ardèche, Johan Tête is a passionate neo-winemaker who founded his domaine in 2015. Trained with natural wine legends like Pierre Overnoy, Clos du Tue-Bœuf, and Château de Béru, he now farms about 5.5 hectares through lease and sharecropping. He grows Gamay on the granite slopes of Arlebosc, Marsanne and Roussanne in Saint-Joseph, and hybrid varieties like Villard noir. He also runs a highly selective négociant activity, sourcing grapes from organic and biodynamic growers. His wines are made without additives, no added sulfur, no filtration, and show remarkable artisanal precision.
