Frédéric Agneray
đ· FrĂ©dĂ©ric Agneray: Loire-Inspired Freshness and Southern Natural Wines in the Gard
Based in Sabran, in the Gard region of southern France, Frédéric Agneray has been cultivating a small 3-hectare estate organically since 2013. A former Parisian drawn to natural wine, he trained with renowned producers like Clos Rougeard, La Grange aux Belles, and Mas de Libian. Influenced by the Loire, he aims to craft southern wines with freshness, low extraction, no added sulfur, and great drinkability. He also experiments with climate-adaptive farming, such as using stakes to shield grapes from excessive heat.
