🍷 François Blanchard – Le Grand Cléré: Living Wine and Biodiversity in Touraine

Located in Lémeré, Indre-et-Loire, François Blanchard’s estate is a unique farm-vineyard where vines coexist with woods, fallow land, horses, vegetables, and fruit trees. A former musician, François farms 4 hectares biodynamically (certified by Ecocert) on clay-limestone soils rich in flint. He vinifies without additives, sulfur, or filtration, embracing a free, artisanal spirit. His cuvées bear poetic and musical names like Contrebasse, À l’Abordage, Perrontonic, Flap-Flap… Each wine is a living reflection of its place and vintage.
