Domaine Christian Binner

Located in the picturesque Alsace region of France, the Christian Binner winery is renowned for its commitment to natural and biodynamic winemaking practices. Established in 1770, the family-owned estate spans over 11 hectares of vineyards, primarily situated on the region's distinctive granite and limestone soils. Christian Binner, the current proprietor, is a passionate advocate for producing wines that authentically express their terroir.

Binner's philosophy centers around minimal intervention both in the vineyard and the cellar. The vineyards are cultivated without synthetic chemicals, relying instead on organic methods to maintain soil health and biodiversity. Harvesting is done by hand to ensure the selection of only the finest grapes.

In the winery, fermentation occurs with native yeasts, and the wines are neither filtered nor fined, preserving their natural flavors and complexities. The use of sulfur is kept to a minimum, further reflecting Binner's dedication to creating wines that are as pure and expressive as possible.

The estate produces a diverse range of wines, including Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Noir, each showcasing the unique characteristics of Alsace. Christian Binner's wines are celebrated for their depth, vibrant acidity, and ability to age gracefully.
