Champagne Les Pièces Champagne JM Gandon

A family-run grower Champagne from the Gandon estate, this single-plot cuvée comes from a parcel farmed with real care, where chalky soils give the wine its bright, mineral backbone. The 2022 vintage brings ripe fruit and lovely freshness: think white peach, citrus zest and a touch of brioche from ageing on the lees. Fine, persistent bubbles carry a creamy texture and a clean, saline finish that keeps you coming back for another sip. Lovely as an aperitif, but it really shines with shellfish, roast poultry or a mature hard cheese. A characterful bottle for anyone who loves authentic, small-production fizz.
