🍷 Casot des Mailloles: Natural Wine on Seaside Terraces
Located in Banyuls-sur-Mer, Roussillon, Casot des Mailloles is a landmark of natural winemaking. Founded in 1994 by Alain Castex and Ghislaine Magnier, the estate spans about 3.5 hectares of steep terraced vineyards, cultivated without chemical inputs. Since 2015, Jordi Pérez has carried on the artisanal, radical approach: hand harvesting, zero additives, no filtration or fining.
🌿 Philosophy
Organic farming, manual labor on extreme slopes.
Natural vinification with no oenological additives.
Small-scale production (around 5000 bottles/year), focused on emotion and vitality.

Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Macabeu…
