VDF Ramuncho

Caroline Gimenez
Caroline Gimenez farms a handful of tiny plots in the Loire with real care: organic work in the vines, hand-picking, and nothing added that doesn't need to be there. This 2024 red is her easy-going, joyful side — whole bunches, a gentle infusion-style fermentation, no fining or filtering, barely a whisper of sulphur. You get crunchy red berries, a touch of pepper and that lively freshness the Loire does so well. Light, juicy and dangerously drinkable, it's happiest slightly chilled alongside charcuterie, grilled veg or a simple roast chicken. Pop it open with friends — it won't last long.
