Pinot Blanc W-S Albert Mann

From the Mann family's biodynamic estate in Wettolsheim, this Alsatian white comes from old vines rooted in limestone and marl soils. Hand-picked grapes are gently pressed and fermented slowly with native yeasts in large casks, then left on fine lees to build texture without heaviness. Expect a fresh, generous glass: ripe pear, white peach and a touch of almond, carried by a lively, mineral finish. It's the kind of bottle that slips easily onto the table, happy with roast chicken, creamy pasta, soft cheeses or simply a sunny afternoon. Drink it now or keep it a few years — it rewards patience too.
