Blanc de Blancs Grand CruExtra Brut BIO

Champagne Eric Rodez
Picture Ambonnay, a Grand Cru village better known for Pinot Noir — yet here Chardonnay steals the show. Eric Rodez, an eighth-generation grower who swapped a career at Krug for his family's organic and biodynamic plots, crafts this from old vines rooted in deep chalk. Expect fermentation in oak barrels, long lees ageing and barely any dosage, so the fruit speaks for itself. You'll find lemon zest, toasted hazelnut, white flowers and a chalky, saline finish that lingers. Pour it with oysters, grilled sea bass or simply on its own when you want something genuinely special in your glass.
