VDF Igenniwen Gamay

Houas Boukella
A Loire gamay with real character, made by Houas Boukella on schist and sandy soils that give the fruit its lift and freshness. The vines are worked gently, hand-picked, then vinified with minimal intervention: whole bunches, native yeasts and no heavy handling, so the juice keeps its crunch. Expect a bright, juicy red bursting with raspberry, wild strawberry and a peppery, slightly floral twist, with silky tannins and a lively finish. Serve it lightly chilled with charcuterie, grilled vegetables or a simple roast chicken. If you like your reds easy-going but full of personality, you'll love this one.
