Saint Aubin 1er cru Les Combes

Fabien Coche
From the heart of the Côte de Beaune, this white comes from a family estate in Meursault where Fabien Coche works his vines with real care, keeping yields low and picking by hand. The plot sits on stony limestone slopes, the kind of soil that gives Chardonnay its tension and mineral edge. Gently pressed and fermented in barrel, then aged on fine lees, it shows white peach, citrus zest and a touch of hazelnut, with a creamy texture balanced by bright acidity. Pour it with roast chicken, scallops or a creamy goat's cheese, and you'll see why it's worth the detour.
