Obeideh

Sept
Deep in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, Maher Harb farms old indigenous vines without chemicals, letting the mountain limestone and high altitude do the talking. This native white grape, planted on terraced slopes, gives you something you won't find anywhere else: golden stone fruit, dried herbs, a whisper of orange peel and a saline finish that keeps you coming back. Hand-picked, fermented with wild yeasts, aged quietly with minimal sulphur and no fining. The result is textured, honest and gently wild, with a grip that loves grilled fish, mezze or roast chicken. If you're curious about ancient grapes made the natural way, start here.
