Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune "La Couleuvraire"

Domaine David Trousselle
Nestled in the high-altitude slopes above Beaune, this white comes from a small family estate where David Trousselle works his vines with real care and a light touch. The 2021 vintage gives you a Chardonnay full of freshness: think crisp green apple, citrus zest and a hint of white blossom, with a gentle mineral edge that comes straight from the limestone soils. Gently pressed and aged to keep its natural brightness, it stays lively rather than heavy. Pour it with goat's cheese, grilled fish or a simple roast chicken, and you'll see why these cooler hillside sites are worth seeking out.
