Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune Blanc "La Couleuvraire" Domaine David Trousselle

Nestled in the rolling hills above Beaune, this white Burgundy comes from a small, hands-on estate where every vine gets personal attention. The cooler, higher-altitude plots give the Chardonnay time to ripen slowly, keeping that lovely freshness you want in a glass. Expect bright citrus, white peach and a touch of hazelnut, with a gentle creaminess from careful ageing in barrel. The chalky limestone soils show up as a clean, mineral finish that keeps you coming back for another sip. Lovely with grilled fish, creamy chicken dishes or simply a wedge of Comté. Drinking beautifully now, or cellar a few years.
