Bourgogne Aligoté

Anne Boisson
Crafted in Burgundy by Anne Boisson, this white is a lovely reminder of how charming Aligoté can be. The vines grow on limestone-rich soils around Meursault, worked with real care and respect for the land. Hand-picked grapes, gentle pressing and ageing on fine lees give the wine texture without losing its lively edge. Expect bright citrus, green apple and a touch of white flowers, carried by a crisp, mouth-watering finish and a hint of chalky minerality. Pour it chilled with oysters, goat's cheese or simply on its own as an aperitif. Honest, refreshing Burgundy that won't break the bank.
